Services and process
Start where your company needs help.
Begin with a workshop, a company assessment or a specific project. A workshop can bring your team up to speed and reveal useful next steps.
Workshops
Get your team comfortable using AI.
A workshop can be your first step with Studio Leland. Bring your team up to speed, try relevant examples and identify what would help them in their work. From there, you can choose an assessment, advisory support, a defined consulting project or further training.
Sessions are available for leadership, office staff, field teams and industry associations. We tailor the examples and level to the people attending.
1-hour workshops
A focused introduction.
A practical demonstration, construction examples and time for questions. Choose a topic:
AI essentials for construction teams
Give clear instructions, provide useful context and check AI responses before using them.
AI for owners and managers
Explore practical applications, team responsibilities and where to start.
Better communication with AI
Turn rough notes into clear emails, meeting summaries, follow-ups and customer updates.
Finding answers in your documents
Use approved reference material to research questions and locate supporting information, including tools such as NotebookLM.
3-hour workshops
Practice on a selected workflow.
Guided exercises and reusable examples, with time to work through questions. Choose a topic:
From field notes to office action
Practice turning voice notes, photos and site observations into daily reports, assigned actions and project updates.
Delegate repeatable work to AI
Create reusable instructions and templates for recurring tasks, with checks before the results are used.
Connect your tools and information
Map a handoff between systems, identify duplicated entry and plan a connection that suits the team.
Build a useful AI-assisted tool
Work through a small prototype, such as an information tracker, document organizer or reporting aid. The exercise is sized to the session.
Leave with something you can use.
Your team receives the session’s reusable examples and a short list of applications to consider. An optional follow-up can help choose one opportunity and plan a pilot. That follow-up can be scoped as advisory or implementation.
Workshops are scoped and priced individually, including preparation, materials and any follow-up. No company assessment is required first.
Company assessment
Your snapshot and roadmap.
Start with a focused review of one question or workflow, or commission a broader evaluation of how your company works.
A focused review produces recommendations for the question you bring. A broader company assessment includes a current-state snapshot and prioritized roadmap, informed by interviews, walkthroughs and selected records. Implementation is a separate decision.
You can begin here, or use an assessment to explore opportunities that come out of a workshop.
Explore the assessment →AI advisory
Help deciding what to do next.
Work with us to choose priorities, evaluate tools and guide an AI pilot. We help your team make decisions and review progress while your staff carries out the work.
A short advisory engagement can follow a workshop, support a decision or help you act on assessment findings. Ongoing advisory provides scheduled reviews as the work develops. You do not need a full company assessment first.
- Choose a useful change and name the person responsible.
- Set an action plan and what improvement would look like.
- Review results, answer questions and adjust the plan.
- Decide whether to continue, change direction or bring in implementation help.
Advisory can be a short engagement or ongoing. Building tools and integrations is scoped as implementation.

Make information useful across the company.
We build workflows, connect systems and develop tools around the work your team needs to do. Existing software and new tools can work together, with the people using them involved in the design.
We test with your real work and plan the handover with your team.
For larger custom AI builds, we bring in established AI engineering firms, so the project gets the engineering depth it needs while we keep it grounded in how construction works.
Examples of our work
Estimating and preconstruction tools
Plan-reading, quantity and scope workflows, estimate preparation and logs of questions that need an answer. These tools support the estimator’s review and decisions.
Permit-based lead generation
A lead-generation tool that organizes public permit activity by market area, project phase and client type, helping a company identify relevant projects and potential business opportunities.
Ways we can help your company
Field information that reaches the office
Capture what project managers and field staff know through voice notes, photos and site observations. Organize it into daily reports, action lists, change records and updates the office can use, with review before information is shared.
Connections between your tools
Connect existing tools and new ones so project information reaches the people who need it. Reduce repeated entry between field reporting, project management, estimating and accounting, with clear rules for what moves, who reviews it and where the current record lives.
Information prepared for the next person
Translate collected information into the report, summary or record needed by an office team, client, subcontractor or other company, while keeping the source and review responsibilities clear.
Company knowledge and repeatable reporting
Make approved procedures and project information easier to find. Turn recurring inputs into consistent reports and follow-up lists your staff can check and use.
Websites and AI search
A site that explains your business.
Evaluate and optimize an existing website, or build a new one. We look at the content, design, search access and the path from a visit to an inquiry.
AI-assisted search is already changing how people research services and compare their options. A prospective client may encounter an AI-generated answer before visiting your website. Clear information about your services, locations and experience helps search systems understand where your company fits, and helps people decide whether to contact you.
We improve the website’s content and technical foundations and track discoverability and inquiries. Search platforms decide which businesses and sources appear.
Explore website services →Reviewing the change
Know what improvement looks like.
Before a pilot starts, we document the current process, choose a measure that matters and set a date to review it. We compare the results with that starting point before recommending the next step.
For a field-to-office workflow, that might mean how quickly updates reach the office, how often someone re-enters the same information, or whether assigned actions are followed through. We also check accuracy and the effort required from your team.
AI can help organize evidence and prepare drafts. We verify the facts and review client-facing recommendations before sharing them. Your team remains responsible for its business and construction decisions.
Ongoing support
Support with a defined scope.
Help with the solutions you run, changes in the tools and new requirements. Each support plan is sized to the solutions you run.
At handover, your team gets what it needs to run the work and knows who maintains it.
Before work begins
Clear responsibilities.
An agreed arrangement.
We identify the people responsible for the engagement. We agree how files and systems will be accessed, which services will process information and how working copies and engagement records will be handled afterward.
Your proposal sets out the outputs, responsibilities, schedule, fee and exclusions. We agree any extra scope and specialist involvement before adding them to the engagement.
We work in your accounts or ours, whichever suits the work. Existing tools are an option, not a limit on what we can recommend.
